Dili by Air

I guess these pics are a bit old now, but I feel that I should give them a home somewhere. I created these images in mid September at the end of the Dili Marathon. I was fortunate enough to score a flight in a Bell 212 around Dili. Taking off from the Airport, we flew to the east of the city before landing at the military base behind the Palacio Presidente.

The morning 'mist' over Dili. The 'mist' is actually smoke from burning rubbish.

The infamous Santa Cruz cemetery
